My Glowing Recommendations For A Manicure In London

My Glowing Recommendations For A Manicure In London

One of my favourite forms of self-care is getting a manicure. It’s a time where for once I cannot be multitasking, have to set down my phone and enjoy this limited time in the moment. From spots out in London, getting a manicure done at home and even kid’s manicures, see all my recommendations for manicure spots in London below!

DryBy

My ultimate favourite location especially if you want to catch one of the ‘HOT’ manicurists who usually do residency’s there on an ad hoc basis. I met the wonderful Harriet Westmoreland there. The Biosculpture Gel is the go too at this salon - the gel lasts longer, has incredible shades ( rose being Harriet’s favourite base for her signature French) and is proven to be better for the health of your nails by acting like a protective layer while stimulating overall nail health at the same time.

TOWNHOUSE

I have still yet to try this Nail salon - I have been eyeing up booking an appointment at their Harrods location for a while now as it comes highly recommended! They have collaborated with the likes of chantecaille for exclusive beauty rituals so rather than a quick in and out appointment it has gone back to the old school way of a manicure being a beauty treatment. Also their nail art is meant to be exquisite so if you have a special occasion coming up or your just sick of seeing boring nails while typing away on your laptop or phone (I literally cannot stand having un-manicured nails while working) then this is the place to go and try out some out their nail art designs.

Ruuby App

If you’re crunched on time, Ruuby will come to your rescue for self-care treatments at home! While you enjoy a mini spa in your living room you can be doing a handful of things (well with one of the hands) while you have your nails perfectly manicured, each therapist has an array of colours/brands of nail polish and gels. Best of all you can schedule it in the timeframe that best works for you!

Georgia Rae Nails

After contacting her directly on Instagram we organised a home visit. Using my favourite biosculpture gel we tried out one of her unique takes on a French manicure. She is so nice and passionate about her work which makes the whole experience a blast and I am always excited to see the result!

Harriet Westmoreland

After meeting her for the first time at DryBy, I was really intrigued to see who was behind the black latex gloves (her signature look on social). She never disappoints, a manicure with Harriet is the crème de la crème.... from the intricate french polish, to the lotions and potions she uses on your hands… you have to try at least once in your life, it’s an absolute dream!

Linnaean Living x Petite Manicurist

I have to admit Mouse has been a regular at the local nail salons for a few years, enjoying choosing colours and playing around with painting them. Just before I had Valentina we went together to visit one of my favs, Linnaean Living. They collaborated with Petite Manucurist, which is a brand that has created mini nail polishes that wash off with water, non-toxic fun for little princesses!
