The sun was shining and I was out on a brief walk…well… I say ‘brief' because I practically speed walking out of excitement for my first facial post-lockdown!

I am sure everyone was in the same boat as we all visited our favourite beauty spots. I was hopping from one beauty treatment to the other and this destination I was heading to was a definite must.
Lockdown has aged me considerably. It didn’t matter how many DIY facials I did my skin felt congested and tired…it needed some therapy and TLC. Enter: Lisa Franklin.

The clinic was light, airy and hidden in the heart of Knightsbridge. From the beautifully serene treatment room I could see the rooftops so symbolic of London and there I was relaxed and ready for a full hour of pampering.

After having a brief consultation of what my skin concerns are and what I wanted to achieve post-facial I was ready to start the ‘Signature Facial’ called ‘Repair, Recover and Renew’.
This facial will look different for everyone as their team of exports choose to use various facial devices and products based on your skin’s condition to optimise results and create a foundation for long-term skin health. Every treatment is completed with a Rose Quartz lymphatic massage. You can extend the treatment time to allow more time for each element and further optimise the results from each visit.
My facial started with a good deep clean to decongest the skin along with some oxygen therapy to penetrate and hydrate the skin even more. This was complimented by the Lisa Franklin line of skincare, formulated using clinically-proven ingredients with no harsh chemicals - Conscious Glow Approved! The treatment felt nourishing with zero burning or tightness. It was the perfect remedy to help my skin to recover post-lockdown.
After a healthy layer of SPF, I was ready to continue my day, feeling exactly what the treatment said…Repaired, Recovered and Renewed!
The treatment felt so good I took no chances and booked in a follow-up appointment for another signature facial in the coming weeks. With what is going on with my skin at the moment due to hormones I thought it best to have a regular facial booked, nothing too over complicated, but sticking to the basics in a luxury clinic with great, results driven conscious skincare.
